Revenue Engine ("we", "us") builds direct-ordering websites for UK takeaways. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what you type into our forms so we can talk to you about your website, and nothing else.

What we collect

Enquiry form: your name, takeaway name, phone number, and optionally your town and a message.
Onboarding form: the details needed to build your website — business and contact details, menu and opening information, and your consent choices.

We do not collect anything you do not type in. This site has no analytics trackers and sets no cookies (see the cookie policy).

Why we collect it (lawful basis)

To respond to your enquiry and discuss your website — our legitimate interest in responding to a direct request, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
To build and deliver your website if you become a client — performance of a contract.
Marketing, only if you tick the marketing box — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where it goes

Form submissions are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase in the EU (London region).
A notification email containing your submission is sent to us via Resend, our email provider.
We never sell your details or share them with anyone else.

Payments on client ordering sites

Ordering websites we build for takeaways take card payments through Stripe, on an account in the takeaway's own name. Card details go directly to Stripe; neither we nor the takeaway's website ever see or store them. Each takeaway is the data controller for its own customers' orders.

How long we keep it

Enquiries we do not take forward are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the contract plus the period required for tax and accounting records.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop using your personal information. Email info@revenuengine.co.uk and we will sort it. You can also complain to the ICO, though we would rather you raised it with us first.
